The night was cold one summer
The stars above don't shimmer
The clouds were darker
The rain pound harder

'Twas funny how the night was cold
Supposedly its hot that's what I'm told
But that night was different
Its a wound that weaken my strength
​
In that night there was a girl
Her glow is like a pearl
She radiates hope that i need
While the summer sky continuously bleed
​
The girl has long hair that shimmers in the light
That long black silk thing light the night
The eyes she got got me fright
The color of sand such a wonderful sight
​
The way she stand tall with her dress
Her flawless skin got me distress
I have forgot the storm outside
Her presence makes my nervousness slide
​
I watch in awe as she pace
In the aisle with a bright smiling face
Waving with everyone she sees in the room
Even outside waiting is our doom
​
As the sky tremble the dark cloud dribble
The wind woosh like a strong ensemble
The girl in the room just giggle
As the lightning strike everyone tremble
As the trees swayed malevolently
The houses danced with it heartily
The water to the land started to rise
But the girl was still smiling she wasn't surprise
​
Then as the wall started to fall
As the ceiling started to fly
As our house makes us a fool
I stood there demented full of tears in my eyes
​
The girl hugged me it calm my body
My fear go away my body become steady
"BANG!" The door open drastically
Killing my hopes my heart got on rally
​
"Hush! Calm my dear!" That's what she said
With a soothing voice that turn me alive
"I don't want to die!" that's what I plead
"I'll keep you safe!" She added
​
The girl stood up and face the storm
She ran and ran in the darker night
I've felt fear it cause me to tremble
She's all I had I don't want to lose her
​
As the tears started to fall in my eyes
As my body turned groggy i think I'm gonna die
As my hope started to fade
She came back and so as my life

People see me as beautiful as can be
A picture of happiness portrayed by me
Beaming face is what they always see
Perfect image floating in the judgmental sea

People tell me things I like to hear
Whenever I wear the mask
People's love grew wider
In my image of publicity
​
I laugh with them and bond with them
Stays with them and care with them
Only to find out, they're talking in my back
Pointing out everything that I lack
​
I go home downhearted
Wondering when the true me will be accepted
The person they love is not me
But the person created by society
​
I leveled with the mirror and saw someone different
Full of make-up and accessories in her body
A tear escaped my colorful eyes
It ruined the mask I wore this night
​
I wipe the tears and clean my face
Remove accessories and the grande dress
Looking at my naked body I felt disgusted
Looking at the real me I felt unsatisfied
​
The society is cruel for creating a standard
The society is evil to make us an impostor
The society is judgmental for making us pitiful
When the truth is, it is more pitiful for it value beauty than morale
​
I punch the mirror and my reflection disappear
To the society the real me wouldn't matter
If beauty is what they need to be eligible
Then it is what they will get from the impostor me

Women's inferiority were superior years ago,
They were also human but treated very low,
Rights they should have been denied by men,
They refuse to give them the ability to reign.

Years past a social movement had appear,
It challenge all the men and women power,
Theorist seeks to change the belief,
That circulates decades ago.
​
Now let's celebrate, feminism, feminism is on bay,
The power is now even,
The women rises now,
They're gonna wear the crown.
The crown that suits them,
The rights were now alive,
Protecting all the fright,
Making the Earth a secret haven.
